I’ve bee n running with a Garmin Forerunner 305 for over 5 years. It was one of the best/first investments my husband and I made as “athletes,” as we used it for everything from running to cycling. I stopped running with the clunky watch regularly as I learned my own natural pace and primarily used the Garmin for training or races.
I was in the market for a new running/every day watch and the Nike + Sportswatch GPS watch had us sold. It looked good and did enough monitoring for our runs that we thought it’s be a great fit. The style was what sold us. The watch bonked out only a few months after we bought it, much to our disappointment. We took the Nike + back and that’s when we stumbled upon the Garmin Forerunner 10.
Boom. Before I say anything else, no – Garmin did not give me a Forerunner. This is not an endorsed review. But Garmin folks, if you’re listening, I’ll gladly share my address with you.
blew my hair back. It is a solid piece of equipment that’s comfortable enough that I wear it daily. Not too bulky and it does everything the big boy Garmins do, minus heart-rate monitoring (which I never used). It’s been stellar on all my runs.
And now there’s a stylishly simple way to capture each one. Forerunner 10 is Garmin’s lightest, most comfortable GPS running watch yet. It shows how far and how fast and even tracks personal records.
