I have enjoyed running for fun and the different "alternative" running workouts I have created. The one for this week that I am going to play around with was created out of necessity.
Last week, I needed to take in my car for some work. With our schedules, I decided to drop it off the night before. About 8 pm my husband reminds me that we still need to take it to the shop. My kids are tired, growly, ready to head to bed and I hate to slow them down from that quest so I decide to take my car in and run home. It was hot - about 85 at 8:30 - but it was a good decision.
I enjoyed the sunset run, ran on roads that I haven't seen in that perspective in a while and found a way to get in a decent size run.
So, this week, I am going to give some thought on where I can RUN errands when I need to run my errands. It's always good when running is good for something besides just my sanity.
