This was a true test for my skirt. It was a sticky, humid day. But, ya know what? My skirt felt airy and lightweight. I wore compression shorts under it and it never bothered me or felt uncomfortable. It never clung to my skin or got in my way. I got several compliments on it, as well.
Some more pictures from the race that I didn't share before: handing off with Karly. Lots of movement and it still stayed put and didn't give off that "inappropriate" look some skirts do.
finishing in style! I honestly think it's a great length too.
all of us crossing the line.
Would I wear this skirt again for a race? You betcha! Would I buy one with my own money? YES! In fact, I kind of have my eye on the wonder woman one for Wicked Halloween Run (okay, so maybe I'm planning things a little early...).
Bottom line? I specifically asked if I could hold a giveaway because I only have good things to say about this line. The company is family owned and super friendly! The price is definitely reasonable and they're cute and comfy.
So, I want to share the love and sparkles with one of you!
The company has graciously offered one free skirt in either the A-Line style (the kind I'm wearing) or tiered. Plain colors, not the speciality. I'm giving you until Monday at Midnight (EDT) to go look and simply tell me in ONE comment:
-A-line or Tiered?
-Where do you plan to wear it?
I don't want to leave anyone out, so if you don't think you would wear one, they also have kids skirts. If you're a guy and don't want to wear one, but know someone who would love to wear one, simply tell me who you would want to give one to: wife, daughter, sister, etc.
