Run 2, Week 3 (BBOHR): A Run With My Sister + A Long Leisurely Stroll on the Beach

My sister joined me this morning & ran with me for about 20 minutes or so, before she had to go back to our room for a conference call. Once again I ran the path parallel to the beach, up & back a few times, this time with my sister, & then after my sister had gone back, I kept running the path back & forth until I'd completed 65 minutes of running. I was originally going to do just 50 minutes, but hadn't yet completed the requisite 5 miles I wanted to cover, & so kept going until I'd done about 5.6 miles or so. (As I mentioned earlier, the pedometer is inaccurate, & is usually about 0.34 miles over the distance I typically run in reality. So, I like to run about 0.34 more than the Nike+iPod pedometer shows in order to cover the distance I've intended to run!)
After the run was over, my "reward" was doing my cool-down walk on the beach. I took off my shoes & walked the entire length of the beach, & then found a new path around a golf-course near the end, walked around & explored the area... barefoot. ;-)
