I recently received a free sample of ProFoot Plantar Fasciitis inserts and am eager to try them out. My PF has improved over the last few months but it still hurts. I am unable to walk around barefoot without pain and feel some subtle soreness while running.
These inserts seem interesting enough. They are the next step after trying ice, stretching, and reduced running. The only thing that has really helped much was when I went skiing. It seems when I kept my foot stiff and immobile that helped. The inserts slip right into my shoes and take the shape of the heel. Although my left foot is the one that is primarily in pain, you are supposed to use inserts on both feet.
I’m wearing them now and the first thing I notice is that my shoes feel much tighter. I had to remove my custom inserts and put back the ones that came with my shoe. I’m going to head out and try joggling now. Hopefully, I’ll start to notice some difference over the next few days or weeks.
Joggling is fun. Joggling while in pain is not as much. And with summer and fall coming up, I’m going to be putting a lot more joggling miles in. Hopefully, these inserts help.
