I caught her being interviewed in the news and she said she was running at around 7:20pm when she was attacked by a man from behind and pushed to the bushes, away from the busy street. There were a lot of cars but since it was dark no one even noticed this. It a good thing she screamed, resisted and tried to make her way close to the street again. At that point the attacker ran away. She could have been raped!
She flagged down a car asking the driver to drive beside her as she head home. No, she DID NOT get in the car coz she was too scared. She just needed someone with her. The driver of the car agreed, and followed her home until she was safe.
Ladies, please be careful out there, ok? It's best not to run at night, if possible. Maybe, not listening to music will also help so you are aware of your surroundings.
Just a friendly reminder. Happy Weekend, everyone! =)
