Next #runchat, Giveaway Sponsored by Ryders Eyewear
Posted Dec 07 2010 10:04am
This Sunday at 8:00 pm EST David and I are back with our next TweetChat; whether you are a beginner runner or an old pro come join other runners to talk about the thing we all love more than anything- running. This week we have another awesome sponsor, #runchat has the pleasure of giving away a pair of black VTX Sunglasses from Ryders Eyewear .
The Gear: For those that participate in the #runchat you will be entered into the giveaway for the VTX Sunglasses from Ryders Eyewear.
The VTX from Ryders Eyewear feature an interchangeable lens system which allows for versatility as the conditions and activities change. The ultra-lightweight frames and anti-slip, hydrophilic nose pads keep them secure, while optically-correct, scratch-resistant lenses provide 100% UVA, B and C protection.
I have a pair of these and they are awesome. So lightweight, so comfortable and so versatile.
How to Enter: Everyone who participates in the #runchat this weekend will be entered, at the end of the #runchat we will use random.org to select a winner; it is that simple to win!
To increase your odds of winning follow @ Ryderseyewear on Twitter; leave a comment below that you have done so for an entry.
Like them on Facebook and comment on their wall; leave a comment below saying that you have done so and we will increase your entry again.
Hope to see you at #runchat, if you have any questions just put them in the comments section below.
The #runchat Details: beginning at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday December 12th both @ RunningBecause and I will ask a running-related question using Twitter hashtag #runchat . You answer; you re-tweet other people’s answers; you respond to other people’s answers. If you’re not familiar with Twitter, it’s really that simple. TweetChat is what I use as it makes following the conversations for the particular tag really easy.
The #runchat will last from 8-9 p.m. EST. We’ll post a new question every 5-10 minutes, depending on the nature of the conversations going on. We will be moderating the chat and all questions will come from me ( @iRunnerBlog ) and David ( @RunningBecause ).
Also, here are some helpful tips for having the best #runchat experience:
- TweetChat , just sign in to that site with your Twitter account, put in the tag #runchat and boom — you can join in the conversation without even having to retype #runchat
- TweetDeck or Hootsuite, create a new column with the #runchat tag to follow along
- web-based Twitter, create a new saved search with #runchat.
No matter how you follow along, please use the hashtag #runchat in each of your posts so we can follow all of the responses.
