Since my last attempt to go to Bikram was a failure, I decided to try again. It was almost another let down, as many of the other people were canceling. However, I secretly wanted to just go home after work.
But since Kim and Carrie stuck it out and decided to go, I went too. I think we all we just going because we didn’t want to let the other down.
We got to the studio and set up shop. It was SO hot! But that’s the point….
The instructor was very nice and understanding of newbies. Within the first 20 minutes a woman got up to get some air but stumbled and fell. The instructor and another woman helped her out. Ah! Was this what I was in for?
The class kept going, and I still felt pretty good. Surprisingly, the 90 minutes flew by! In the end, I felt very refreshed and awake. I was a bit worried with my no coffee diet so far that I might lose some steam, but so far still good!
I might try to make it to another class. New people get 10 days unlimited pass for $20! The studio was nice-a bit small, but it had 2 showers available for after. I would definately go there again!
