My Cross-Training Boredom

I got those 50 minutes of cross-training done!  I did 25 minutes on the elliptical and 25 minutes on the recumbent bike, with some stretching after.  Staying in the gym that long is a feat for me–I get super bored.  I get bored with only having access to a treadmill, a bike, and an elliptical.  I get bored being the only person in my small apartment gym.  And I get bored staring at the wall, because the only TV in the room is really too fuzzy to see or pay attention to.

Any tips to crack the cross-training boredom?

I miss running outside.  MN, please warm up!!

Quick lunch solution: roast beef sandwich with white sharp cheddar cheese and a light mayo/dijon mustard, and a large salad of spring greens, arugula, tomatoes, feta, and Greek vinagrette.

I used half a pretzel roll for the sandwich (which was a-w-e-s-o-m-e!).  I’m glad I used only half, since the roll was very dense and bread-y.  Just the way I like it :)

No pics of dinner tonight :(   The boyfriend and I decided to go out for dinner, and when we got to the restaurant, I discovered that my camera batteries were dead.  But I had enchiladas (my favorite).  So ’twas not all bad!
