I am a35 yo female runner. Love to run because I have never felt any pain. I run approx 25to 30 miles per week and have felt great. 2 weeks ago without warining, I suddenly had severe pain to sit in a chair then it progressed. Dr. said that I pulled something and prescribed anti imflammtory. I don't believe that I pulled something. Who should I consult? The pain has improved but sitting is still uncomfortable where it was "jolting" pain before. I am dying to return to running it has now been 14 days. It seems like common sense to wait until I see a Dr. but I don't feel good just lying around with a minimum of physical activity.
