Let's face it. As women, we have been stuffing our bras most of our lives. If not with the extra padding we desired as young girls, then it was with our IDs in our clubbing days. As a runner, I've been known to lock my valuables in my car and stuff my car key in my bra when I hit the trails. When I am an old and grey Grandma, I'll probably keep my old lady pills in there. Since I still have a few years before I hit those old and grey years, I was thrilled for the opportunity to try the , the sports bra with built in pockets on the side to hold my small valuables while I run. Brilliant!
I love the idea of putting my ID or my debit card in a zippered bra pocket when I go out for a run, but the also claims it holds the iPhone! When I first tried to put my phone in the pocket, I couldn't get it to fit, so I gave up. I slid my ID and my debit card in one pocket and my house key in the other and I was ready to go out for my test run. Then I mentioned to my running partner that I was surprised that I couldn't fit my iPhone in the pocket, she said, "Did you remove the case?" D'uh! I had a brunette moment (you know, like a blonde moment, but less offensive to my smart blonde friends). So, I removed the case, and my phone slid easily into the pocket. I was ready to run, iPhone in tow!
We went for a short run around the neighborhood. The is comfortable, structured, supportive, and cute, with black quick-drying fabric and pink contrast zippers. It felt good on my run, it had the same support and comfort that I would expect from my traditional sports bras. It was perfect. I ran about three miles during my run and the did its job and kept my things safe and secure, exactly as promised. Now I will never have to relive that time I tied my car key to my shoe laces on a run in the park and my shoe laces came untied. Yes, that really happened.
I did notice that because the phone is thick when it is in the side pocket of the bra, it might start to rub against your arm after a while during longer runs. It was no problem at all for my short run but I imagine for half-marathons or longer, a traditional running belt to hold your marathon belongings (phone, ID, gels, etc.) might be more appropriate.
The side zippers are reverse coil (the bumpy coil side of the zipper is on the inside) so that it is smooth and flat on the outside of the bra to minimize any friction against your skin. They thought of everything!
The is perfect for holding your ID, debit cards, and house key when you want to leave the house for a quick run. It is always smart to at least carry your ID with you, even if it is just a few miles around the neighborhood. I love that my iPhone fits in the pocket and I dont have to mess with a running belt or an awkward armband for short runs, walks with Ollie, or at the gym. Speaking of the gym, it is perfect to hold your locker key! It is a great sports bra and it doubled nicely as an everyday bra. I even wore it a few days under my work clothes. Now that I have a , I may never carry a purse again. :)
I highly recommend that you stuff your bra the right way and
