JELL-O

Posted Nov 28 2006 12:00am
It's one of those foods you never really eat unless you make a point to do so. It isn't like M & M's where if you have them around the house, you eat them. You don't graze for Jell-o like you do chocolate chips (or at least like I do). However, over the last four days, I've grown to love and appreciate the wigglin' stuff.
I did the Turkey Trot 5k with some friends and it was just a beautiful day. I then had Thanksgiving with my brother his family and my parents. Things were going great, I didn't overeat, I didn't even have pie this year. Then Friday came. I woke up with a sore throat and my body ached. I ran a few errands and came back home. Something wasn't right. By Saturday, I couldn't keep food down, had a fever, was really weak, my throat was raw. I finally broke down on Monday and went to the doctor and came home with a double ear infection, sore throat, swollen glands and a fever to boot! I spent four days on the couch or in my bed and watched DVD's. Most would think that doesn't sound bad. But, trust me, by day two, I was sick of laying around. I'm still a little out of it but I feel much better than before. I know I promised pictures last time but the only pictures I can offer right now would be of my nightstand covered with cold and flu medication. Not real exciting.
