February PreviewFebruary is traditionally a long month. Hot off of the Streakers competition, it's back to just the regular old grind of training. This is going to be the first month where I'll really be tested in terms of my commitment to run Vermont. If I can run 208 miles in February, I'll know that I can remain committed through to July. This months Fat Ass comes up quick on the 9th with the Frozen Dead Guy 50K. Then, I have my first race of the season with the Twin Mountain trudge up in Wyoming. A 22 mile race in the Medicine Bow Mountains outside of Laramie and snowshoes are not permitted. Hence "Trudge." I'm stoked for both. So, that's the goal. Complete both events, run 208 miles, and lose another 3 lbs.
