I stole this quote from Olga's blog who stole it from Kelly's blog. I just had to share it because I REALLY like it and had never heard it before. It's so very true...
"Brick walls are there for a reason, brick walls are not there to keep
us out, but to give us a chance to show how badly we want something.
They are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough." - Randy Pausch
Since I'm sharing (and stealing) quotes I also really like the one Kim posted a few days ago.
“Love..... knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. Love still stands when all else has fallen.”
Sometimes when a relationship fails it can mean that real love wasn't really there. Maybe passion. Maybe romantic love. But not the kind of real love that outlasts, endures, doesn't fade, and works through issues instead of giving up. It's break-up time. I know a few others, including my best friend who just went through it in the last few days or weeks. They say there is no such thing as earthquake season but what about break-up season?
Of course the "famous" break-up quote also applies here. Sometimes you don't know what was really there (or wasn't really there), until you let it go.
"If you love something, set it free; if it comes back it's yours, if it doesn't, it never was"
