I'm using vibram 5 fingers to run. They are not that bad, I don't feel the road that much; however, I get pain in the arch -only

You may want to get inserts or change your shoe. It could lead to a bigger injury if you continue to run with arch pain.

Did you properly progress to wearing those type of shoes?

I see many patients that went from using running shoes straight to the 'barefoot' type shoes. Many injuries occur this way because the foot cannot adapt to the decreased stability of barefoot shoes all of a sudden.

Yes what the doctor said these shoes are of a completely different dynamic break em in slow and read about bare foot running.
