Hello all,

I consider myself an active runner.  I run about 40+ miles a week.  Last August I tore my hip flexor and after months of NO activity, back and forth to PT, MT and the surgeons office I am doing nothing.  I am so afraid that I will not be able to run again.  THe PT was costing me $300 an hour ($175 after insurance) which is not happenin!

I don't know what to do exercise wise. l do my mat pilates but not very consistently. It's boring!! I need to run.....

Feeling like a caged animal!!  Any ideas out there?? Is there hope?!!

Can you walk, cycle, or swim without pain? Walking is a much safer exercise than running. I've been running for over 38 years, and I understand that walking may not satisfy you in the way that running does, but It's a lot better than sitting and doing nothing.
