LOVED THE BOOK and like my shoes learning to love them

Um, it made me want to run all day every day. Which is a problem since I already try and do that. This is an amazing book. Beyond being an insane runner, I also completely appreciated the fantastic narrative.

Beth, thanks for the recommendation! I may actually run out to get The Long Run today. That's a bold, bold statement...and I like it! Can't wait to start.

I suffered with planter fasciitis for a year in both feet - the most painful year of my life. My husband got the book for me for Christmas and I couldn't put it down! I decided to try barefoot running, figured I had nothing to loose and it changed my life. I now run10 miles a day 5 days a week pain free!!! It may not work for everyone but it's still a great runners read. Another life changing book to pick up is Skinny bitch.

I loved the book. Couldn't put it down. It was such a great mix of action/adventure and running-geekery.

I thought it was the best running book ever.

But then I read The Long Run (by Matt Long). And that was better. If you haven't read it yet, I'd highly recommend it!

I LOVED that book! Very well written and great story! I admit, it definitely turned me on to the barefoot running phenomenon. I pretty much only run in minimalist shoes following that read.
