Georgia on My Mind

Posted May 01 2013 8:35pm
Still deciding if I love my Ombre or not?

There are just a couple quick words I want to say tonight. First and foremost I truly admire the women who I listed in yesterday's post. I do not feel inferior or jealous of what they have created although I do admire them so much for their beautiful spirits. I consider most of them friends and honestly feel like I learn something every time I read their words.

Secondly, I write from my heart, ALWAYS!!!!
Positive or negative I write my truth here so expect nothing less.  I'm not trying to pretend I am someone I am not.

Thirdly, I am here to support all other women and mothers. I want to encourage you on your worst day. I want to compliment you when you don't feel beautiful. I want to help you get into shape and give you the confidence you need to succeed.  I want to encourage you when you feel like your drowning in debt or problems.

I have been in all of these places in my life and nothing brings me greater joy than forming strong bonds with other women. I just want you to know I stand behind you no matter what! I am here to lift you up not tear you down.

That is the part of blogging that I truly enjoy.

Here are a few quotes I found today and loved! I hope you enjoy them too!

“I've been absolutely terrified every moment of my life and I've never let it keep me from doing a single thing that I wanted to do.” ― Georgia O'Keeffe“Whether you succeed or not is irrelevant, there is no such thing. Making your unknown known is the important thing.” ― Georgia O'Keeffe

"I have things in my head that are not like what anyone has taught me -- shapes and ideas so near to me -- so natural to my way of being and thinking that it hasn't occurred to me to put them down...So I decided to start anew, strip away what I had been taught -- to accept as true my own thinking."
 - Georgia O'Keefe

I can't live where I want to, I can't go where I want to go, I can't do what I want to, I can't even say what I want to. I decided I was a very stupid fool not to at least paint as I wanted to.” ― Georgia O'Keeffe
