If running in our neighborhoods and local trails seems challenging, we might all be in for a new perspective.
This week's FREE Stuff Giveaway giveaway is a DVD of Volcanic Sprint, the inspirational story of the Mt. Cameroon Race of Hope, a marathon-length sprint 10,000 feet up a live volcano in Africa. This film is a gripping alternative to traditional running events. Instead it is filled with heart and determination of the most unheard-of yet most heroic and rugged runners in the world. To
conquer the mountain, runners must overcome some of the cruelest
conditions: 50 degree temperature fluctuation, the highest ascent in racing, altitude
sickness, and loose volcanic stones—and then they fly back down the mountain.
Producers Steve Dorst and Dan Evans donate a share of proceeds Volcanic Sprint sales to Soles4Souls, a major nonprofit organization whose mission is to impact as many lives as possible with the gift of shoes. Steve and Dan are generously giving away three copies of this inspirational DVD.
