It’s that time again – time for this month’s foodie pen pal reveal. This was my third month participating, and it was the best yet!
This month, I was paired with a wonderful pen pal – Jessica from Jessica is Baking . Her package included a bunch of things she is currently loving. Some were new to me, and I was excited to try them all. I can never have enough cans of pumpkin, so I loved that she sent me more. The Almond Nut Thins were so tasty – we enjoyed them with some cheese or just plain as a snack. Thankfully, they lasted longer than the Theo’s chocolate (salted almond dark chocolate – swoon!). I haven’t had a chance to try the Blackberry Honey Creme yet, but I cannot wait to have it with some toast or on top of some warm oats. (Note to self: try it out tomorrow!)
I sent my foodie pen pal package to Heidi, a blog reader. I kept a “pumpkin” theme with pumpkin bread mix, pumpkin butter, maple cinnamon almond butter, halloween cookie cutters, pumpkin shaped pasta and some other goodies.
I included some fun treats in her package including Scarecrow Bait and Ghost & Goblin Bait – my take on Bunny Bait from this recipe . I used Halloween M&Ms for the Scarecrow Bait and Pumpkins & Candy Corn for the Ghost & Goblin Bait. It was super easy, super tasty and super cute!
