Today’s workout was 1 mile warmup, drills (with lots of hip work!) and 8×200 (with 100 recovery) and 4×100 (100 recovery). I ran back to the gym to get a lot of stretching and foam rolling. Speedwork in the cold followed by sitting at my desk all day = tight muscles. I didn’t feel too strong during the workout, but I think that’s to be expected after taking a winter off from sprinting
Pace is off, I didn't stop the clock during drills, recovery and cool down.
Tomorrow night is 5K time trial. Kimberly will use our times to forecast pacing for training runs. So I will be going to bed early so I am refreshed for the run!
