The item I might use most next is the Coastal Scents Shadow Palette Sampler . The colors are more neutral which is what I typically use. The small sample size is perfect so that I can throw it in my bag for when I get ready after morning workouts that I need to head straight to work after. Who wants to bring full size makeup products when you can bring a sampler size! Every extra weight to my already super heavy bag for work adds up!
One of the great things about Ipsy is that they send you tools to use with your beauty products. In my January Glam Bag , I got the London Soho Crease brush that I use daily for applying theBalm Hot Mama as blush ( January Birch Box item). This month, they sent me the Lash Card which can be used to help apply mascara and not making a mess on your eyelid. Because of the way my eyelid is shaped with my Asian eyes, this is quite helpful! I used it with the Pop Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara that this Glam Bag came with. The tool is nice, but I don’t know if I would go out and purchase it on my own just because I’m trying to limit my purchases to things I really need.
The last product I received was the Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer . I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and I have never used a primer before but it was nice to try something new. I’ll have to give this a try sometime this month-but only after testing a little bit of it on my skin first to make sure I don’t have any reactions to it! My girlfriend used a product for the first time and she found out she was allergic to it!
Overall, I liked my January Ipsy Glam Bag a better than this months but it was still great to get some items I might not normally try. I’ve also wanted a gel eyeliner so it was great to get this to add to my pile of samples. I don’t really need to buy beauty products anymore because I get what I need from my samples!
