Discharge on new birth control

I am taking Sprintec for my second month now and today just 5 days before I start taking my inactive pills I have experienced some brownish color discharge when i wipe. Is this normal? I did not spot the first month I took this new birth control and is that what is going on now, spotting due to my birth control?

I have been taking sprintec for a couple of years now and have experienced the brown discharge four different times but mine actually gets to be almost as heavy as a regular period. i have been told that this is possibly due to the birth control so i may be switching to another one and suggest that you do the same if the discharge continues.
