I don't know about you all, but I am not a big fan of cold weather. And unfortunately for those of us in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, the cold is hitting earlier than usual this year. For me, for some reason, that equates to bad eating!
Maybe it's because the cooler weather brings things like Girl Scout cookies, Halloween and then the endless string of holidays. Maybe it's because I'm indoors more. Whatever the case, I tend to eat more, and add more junk to my diet, than at any other time of the year.
Last year that amounted to a weight gain that took me until June to get ride of. Right now I'm sitting at a pretty good racing weight and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm resolving now to keep the junk and the overeating at arm's length.
Anyone else have this problem? Let me know what you do to combat it!
