Hi friends! I have to share with ya'll these amazing little bites of delicious energy yumminess! As you know, I've recently lost 30 lbs., have ran 2 Half Marathon's, and am now following a marathon training plan. I have completely changed the way I eat, and what I eat. Because of that, I am always on the lookout for healthy food and snacks. I recently heard about Chunks of Energy .
Their name caught my eye, it seems we can all use a little extra energy! I went to their website and read about them, and I was hooked! They say "Chunks of Energyare nutritionally dense. We start with nuts, seeds, and dates, and add fruits, perhaps some more seeds, and fabulous body-strengthening, cancer-fighting, immunity-boosting ingredients like spirulina, chia seeds, raw cacao, and more." Wow, it doesn't get much better than that! They were kind enough to send me a couple samples. First was the Honey Pistachio . Simple, not too sweet, and smooth except for satisfying chunks of pistachio to brighten your day. That's exactly how I would describe them. Absolutely perfect! Next was the Raw Cacao with Goji Berries . Popular because is it sweet but not sugary, rich but not overwhelming, and simply very good, not bad. These were my favorite. It almost tasted like I was eating something not-so-healthy, but I wasn't!
I love that they meet the needs of all different dietary preferences and sensitivities, including 5 certified Gluten-Free flavors, all of which are organic, vegan and soy free.
There is something for everyone! In these cute bites, you get your fiber, protein and complex carbs. These are awesome, power packed treats! I will definitely be doing some more shopping!
