I have spent nearly 21 months and seen 6 different doctors trying to figure out a pain in my lower leg. I have been running for over 20 years and never had a problem and all of a sudden I developed a pain on the outside of my leg to the left of my knee. Some thought it was where my IT attaches, my current diagnosis is where the peroneus attaches. I am still in pain and can't figure out where this is stemming from or how to fix it.
I am miserable...been depressed and spent a small fortune trying to solve this. I have seen 2 orthopedics, 2 chiropractors, a holistic guy, a poditrist, been through 3 rounds of physical therapy. I can say that dry needling caused temporary improvement as well as that electrode thing but once I stop doing these weekly, pain returns.
