It depends the distance of your "mini" marathon. A standard marathon is 26.2 miles and requires at least 4-6 months of consistent running to train for. I think it might be possible to run a 10K (6.2 miles) by 9/26 but anything longer than that would be a stretch if you're new to the sport.
