Can dizziness be a side effect of a steriod shot for a sports injury?

My husband has a ligament injury in his leg from running that started above his knee. The dr. game him a steriod shot as well as an anti-inflamatory shot. He woke up very dizzy this morning - could this be a side effect from the shots?
