After having a very sad night at work (I'm a trauma ICU RN, you can guess that it may not always be the most uplifting place!), I was feeling a little rough.
Fortunately I had 2 fantastic pick-me-ups to help reset my mental bearings in the right direction 1) I went for a refreshing twilight run in a bright neon outfit. Nothing like a run to hit the reset button :) Technically I don't think pink and orange match, but I really enjoy the way they look together and my goal was to be visible!
2) and then I received THIS e-mail
33 days until the marathon
which contained my bib number for the Boston Marathon!
This is super exciting to me because it makes this entire marathon feel a little more real. Still pretty much feels like a surreal dream to me :)
Anyone else in my wave/corral?! What's your favorite way to hit the reset button after a tough day at work? A refreshing run + curling up in my down comforter.
