Black, Gray and White

Posted Nov 04 2009 10:03pm

Its official: this blog is becoming celebrity-obsessed.

The person to blame is my little sister. Not so little really, she is 16 and a half. But for the past two years she has been People obsessed. Now People is too “ cheap ” and “ young Disney just doesn’t do it for [me]” so she has decided to go vintage.

Grace Kelly. Vivien Leigh. Natalie Wood. Rita Hayworth.

But still, too much celebrity news going around. It’s been inevitable, so I guess the disease has made its way into my system.
So our daily post features Scarlett.

This has been circulating on every single celebrity website on the web. Apparently, she lost over 14 lbs/7 kg because she began working out for her role in Iron-Man 2. Some magazine called Star (I am European, remember?) claims she hired Tracy Anderson, the trainer that makes Madonna look so freaking GOOD at 50!!!

The Response: So yes, she has changed some habits, but nothing drastic like all those tabloids are claiming! She says she commits to working out at least 30 minutes a day and eating a balanced diet of fruit, vegetables and lean proteins. The exercises she performs are all equipment free, too: pull ups, crunches, lunges, squats, jumping jacks, planks, walking, jogging and push ups. I loved how she says that if she were to lose 14 lbs, she’d have to “ part with both arms. And a foot.”

Personally? I don’t see a big difference between the two pictures. I think her right outfit is simply more flattering for her form…and so is her pose and the high heels!

Just so you know…

She used to be on my Black List.
Yes, I have a Black and a White and sometimes Grey lists. For example, my Black
List in 2006 included:

My friend made a gorgeous scrapbook for my graduation in 2006 and this was one of its pages

See? She is there! But no longer is. Neither is Angelina, Jessica or Ashley. I don’t care so much about Kiera. Paris and Nicole are DEFINITELY still there….so eeeww. And Jeniffer is on the Grey List at the moment. Perhaps, if this celebrity turning put continues to dominant my posts in such a pathetic manner, I will add a section called THE LISTS to this blog.

And now let’s get down to some business:

Same old, same old. I was actually excited last night about this run (could the termination of the Chometz-torture be the reason for Happy Humpday? YES!) but found myself battling out of bed. The battle was won within the course of 30 seconds (I know, I am quite something) and out the door I went. With a salty rice cake down my system. Eeewww again!

Stats (for about 6 KM):

Running Time

Average HR

Highest HR

37 minutes162 BPM176 BPM

Still low. I think Poland must have done something to my heart rate.

It was also COLD this morning. As in, I had to keep my fists clenched because they were cold. I run the last 0.5 KM near an open field and I really felt the cold breeze. An hour later I was leaving the house for work in a tee and long pants, not top. To find that it is 10C outside. Sun and hot showers are deceiving.

And The Beholder’s Abs Challenge is STILL on but I am STILL NOT DOING IT! I need next week to be here ASAP and I need it to be

AFTER I pass my driver’s test! Today I had my final lesson(s) and I impressed my teacher with my vast knowledge of changing tires, charging batteries and measuring oil levels. ITS ON FRIDAY! 7 AM. I am wondering whether I should run or not before. Because I know running + shower will wake me up (as in, bright and aware) but then it is a 5 AM rise and I may want an extra of sleep (inner running freak says: nah, just run. Make it short. 30 minutes tops ).

CHOMETZ torture ends in precisely one hour Eastern-European time. Cereals, tortilla, here I come!!!

Off to study for the theory!
