I work a block from the race start, so I parked there and ran to a viewing point and waited: and there she went! We then booked over near the 2 mile mark and caught the leaders coming through: After my teammate came by, we ran to the finish and watched them all come in: It's VERY important to salute when you win!! This guy may have been 2nd today, but the very next day he ran the PARKS 10k for a WIN! This was my best pic of the race. He may have been #3 today, but this guy is #1 quite often! My teammate then came in for a strong finish!! I watched a few other running friends come in, Congratulated and then headed home. I had to get my workout in, because I was planning on racing for the first time in 2012 the next day!!! More to come... Congrats to all the runners! |
