At the gym today, I used a new Precor machine called the Adaptive Movement Trainer (AMT). It adjusts its stride to the stride you create. It can go anywhere from a step machine to an elliptical.
I got on and thought I was going to die! I convinved myself to stay on until I was down to 25 minutes. Then, I convinced myself to keep going every 5 minutes...I did the entire 28 minute session. I didn't do the cool down because my legs already felt like jelly!
I'm hoping to up my stride count in the coming weeks. I only did around 100 spm whereas I normally do 160-170 on the elliptical. I think I will alternate between various machines.
