Running in the mornings has been my ticket to consistent and quality runs. The weather is perfect and I find myself enjoying my runs a lot more than I have in a long while. This past week was my first successful week of waking up every day and running. BOOYA!
Doesn’t it feel good to get in a routine? It definitely does for me!
As beginner runner I am just trying to build a base and get used to running again. So far my body is responding very well which is always a plus but it is a little frustrating to not see the paces or time frames I would like. Patience, patience, patience! I am not following any plan but my own and sometimes I think that is probably the best way to go. Generally I usually get caught up in doing other peoples plans and find myself bored and not as interested. This time around I have developed my own plan based on my knowledge and the aspects of running I enjoy. Is anyone else out there more of a “my own style” training plan runner or does everyone pretty much leave it to the pro’s for advice?
