I ran for 6 miles today (an increase of 1 mile over my other runs this week), and I felt great. My pace was back to where I'd like it to be. This improvement came even though my run was at 11:30 am, almost the hottest part of the day (the shade temperature was 90 (F) when I returned home). I carried 15 oz of water and 15 oz of Gatorade and drank a swallow or two of each at my half-mile walking breaks. I felt strong, and it was a great run!
