My grandma died last night. Knowing it was coming didn’t really make it any easier. As soon as I saw my mom’s name pop up on my caller ID last night, I knew what she was calling to say. It’s still hard.

A few years ago, my Aunt Chris started digitizing some of the really old pictures of our family. I’ve been looking through them a lot since last night and so grateful that my aunt put in the work to do that. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites.

Funeral arrangements are in the works, but it’s kind of hard to plan a good date when a giant freakin’ hurricane is about to demolish the east coast.
