That lot has now become employee parking and people who want to carpool are required to park at the lot outside the Scenic Drive exit. --The scenic drive currently opens its gates at 6 in the morning.

--We came across this video of some savvy skiers who took advantage of the recent snowfall around Mt. Rainier. These turns were found on the Nisqually side of the mountain.
--"Visit Mt. Rainier" reported that Paradise, near Mt. Rainier, has been hit with almost a foot of snow in the last 24 hours!
