Why do I have breast tenderness and excessive gas?

I have had these symptoms for about 3 weeks now. I have IBS so I'm used to intestinal discomfort, but it's never lasted this long, at this intensity. My breasts have also been swollen/sore for 3 weeks...they usually are tender before my period, but never for the entire month before.
I just want to know if these things point to something like pregnancy...which would be highly unlikely seeing as though I am on the pill and use condoms religiously.
