Symptoms of ED includes

- erections that are too soft for intercourse

- erections that last only briefly

- inability to achieve erections

Men who cannot have or maintain an erection at least 75% of the time that they attempt sex are considered to have ED.

Impotence include an erection that is too flaccid for successful vaginal penetration as well as erections that, although adequate for intercourse, last for temporary, short durations of time. Impotent men may also completely lose the ability to gain an erection, regardless of desire levels

Psychological symptoms of impotence may include:  
Low sex drive
Low self-esteem
