Varietal Orgasms

Posted Jan 27 2009 7:16pm
About fifteen years ago I had an idea that it would be ever so interesting to find out how others experience orgasm in their bodies. Did they feel the same things I did? Do men and women experience orgasm in the same ways? Do others have different kinds of orgasms like I do? Had they changed in others people's bodies over time?

My primary circle of friends at the time was women. I was in a number of women's groups and through my times of being a midwife, had tons of women in my life. So on overnight sleep-overs, I began to ask them about their experiences. No one wanted to go there in discussion. Bummer. I guess that even in a group of enlightened and open women (or maybe it is just people) that there are still some subjects that we just don't do.

Well, I mean, everyone but me.

I managed to find out some information during my Tantric training. I did find out that there are tons of types of orgasms and that others experienced different ways of having them in their body, too. The deeper we went into the training, the more sensitive we got. I remember this one time when I was assisting at a workshop with six others, the leader of the workshop was explaining something and all seven of us spontaneously and simultaneously began undulating and having what I call an "oozie." It was hysterical.

I experience these as a gentlish zingie oozing of energy that kind of starts someplace (can be many places) and then just kind of slowly and rhythmically happens all over the body in a diffuse sort of wonderfully warm sparkly way. Kind of like effervescent ripples or shoots of energy. They can last a long time and I have them over and over and over. I have to moan a few times as the energy courses through me. Mmmmmm.

I can have these without any physical stimulation and even demo'd one in front of a lecture I gave at a university. I usually went into these talks with very little planning, just going where the class took the discussion. Although I had given these lectures for three semesters and the teacher got great reviews about me, the spontaneous orgasm thingie was a bit over the edge for the folks, I guess. I was not invited back after that one, hehehe. Someone in the audience thought I was a danger to society because of that demo and also because I refused to say that I thought BDSM was only liked by sick people. She complained to the professor. When the professor would not tar and feather me, she went to the dean. Isn't it amazing what lengths people will go in their need to hold onto their safety and "rightness?" Aside from the professor getting in trouble, I actually thought it was funny. Especially since from that same lecture I got my first groupie. She would follow me around whenever she saw me in public saying that "I" had changed her life. Were they even at the same lecture?

Ok, then...

Weeeelllllll.....just tried to do spell check and phffft....the other half of the post disappeared. Rather than try to recreate it and make it dull, I will just leave it at the oozies for now and talk about rolling oozies, volcanoes, G spot orgasms, ejaculating, and this fun little thing I used to do as a Tantric practice that was in the rest of it for later. Plus..I guess all that would have made it a book. Plus plus...heck..only the second post and here I talking about stuff most people don't even talk to their partners about.

Why don't we talk about this stuff?

What's up with that?
