I joined The Times Health Club today. It’s free to join and you get online fitness tips, an email newsletter, training tools, and advice from health & fitness experts. There are also groups and forums so you can network and exchange ideas and tips. You can create up to five fitness goals – the top two are losing weight and exercising more. Mine is the latter but varying my routine a bit and doing some yoga – as my last fitness assessment showed, my cardio fitness is good but my flexibility is poor. I need to find a weekly yoga class close to home, and invest in a mat and DVD to practise indoors when I’m taking care of Julieta. Does anyone have any yoga DVD recommendations?
I have not been to the gym recently due to a house move and lack of car, so have been running and walking around the countryside where I live. An online health club is a welcome inspiration and should motivate me to stay on track at home.
