Green and black tea seems to be able to lower your heart attack and stroke risk by 41%.
A study of 8552 tea drinking people found a significant reduction in deaths from cardiovascular disease, especially amongst men.
In another study done at Harvard, scientists surveyed 1900 patients hospitalized with heart attack and found a 28% lower death rate amongst moderate tea drinkers and a 44% lower death rate amongst heavy tea drinkers.
FYI green tea is rich in antioxidants which is a major “good guy” when it comes to heart disease, so remember your green tea and your cranberry juice/supplements.
