Is this STD? Itching and burning vagina, pain during and after urination.

Hi,
My name is Andrea and the last one week I observed pain during and after urination and also itching and burning pain on the outside of my vagina. I do have a boyfriend and we don't really use condoms or anything like that, coz I suppose to trust him and taking birth control pills.
I'll see my gynecologist ASAP, just wanted to know what would you think this is...Is it STD???
