Ok-I'm a bit curious. I see that you're from California. I'm from the complete opposite side of the country, so putting on sunscreen isn't something we do unless we plan to spend more than an hour at the beach or in a pool over the summer
Is the sun strong enough to necessitate wearing sunscreen every day, or at least a few days a week, at least on your face? I've only traveled there once, and it was in February, and I remember it reached 80 degrees!

We’re all so conditioned to slather on the SPF 15 or higher that we may be shortchanging ourselves on vitamin D! Although we do get vitamin D from food—fortified cereals and milk, tuna, salmon, and eggs—the sun is the very best source of this important vitamin that helps protect against breast, colon, and prostate cancers. So, before you cover up and lather on the sunscreen, go outside for just five or ten minutes a couple of times a week and let that good old fashioned sunshine pour down on you! It feels so good, and it’s actually good for you!
