Rowing in the Bay Area?

I learned how to row (single shell) on the Ottawa River in Canada last summer and am wondering where the best places are to row in the Bay Area?
For anyone who has not rowed before and are even the slightest bit interested, I highly recommend giving it a try. It was an incredibly workout for my shoulders/back/upper arms, abs and legs and was a lot of FUN!
