Kite Surfing...It's not easy

I recently tried kite surfing and let me just say that I could barely get up. It is a lot harder than it looks. I have done both wind surfing and kite flying so I thought it might be easy...not a chance.

I can't even imagine! It seems like it would be really difficult to get up and then once you are - how do you control the thing? And how do you keep from losing your kite? I have heard of people getting picked up and tossed around so I doubt I would ever try it. Good for you for giving it a shot!
