Today’s meal: For some reason, I am not eating. I know I should. I came home today (around 4pm) thinking I should probably eat something… (I had just been drinking water all day). Did I head straight for the kitchen? Nope.
So, finally, at around 7:30, I forced myself to go in and clean out the refrigerator, more or less. I had some leftover salad turnips, some onions, 2 tomatoes and about 1/2 lb. cherry tomatoes, the purslane, some garlic.
Dinner turned out to be: 1/2 C turnip, peeled and chopped 2 C tomato, chopped 2 small onions, chopped 1/2 C purslane 1 large red bell pepper 1 clove garlic 1 T extra virgin olive oil 1/8 hot pepper 6 oz water
Process all ingredients in the VitaMix and process until smoothie.
