My hubby and I were sitting on our bed... supporting each other tonight. I'm having a hard time juice feasting and he's having a hard time going without coffee and green smoothie feasting. He's on Day 5 and I'm on Day 15.
Anyway he said to me... I'm going raw. When I'm done this... I'm going to drink coffee again, but otherwise I'm doing this raw thing. I've been reading the magazines you have in the bathroom and reading the recipes... I'm ready to do this.
My jaw just about hit the floor! I'm so pleased. Soooooo pleased. My daughter (who's 9) heard him and said, "I wouldn't have believed that if I didn't hear it with my own ears!"
He's a huge meat eater... and he's going raw!
Wow!!!
He's so pleased with his blood sugar readings (diabetic) since doing the green smoothies. (We just finished a 20 day green smoothie feast - ate for a week or two and started this one.) So he's decided this is the answer his body is craving. He's also 171 pounds now and has set a goal of 165 - and he can see that happening for himself. He's also so thrilled with the health he's seen me experience.
So I just had to share cause this is friggin' HUGE!!! I'm so proud of him I could simply burst!!!
On to another topic:
Today I bought myself some clothes! Two new sports bras... size Large and 3 tank tops... and a t-shirt. I'm so pleased... I have something to wear. Now I just need a pair of shorts cause the ones I'm wearing are my hubby's and honestly... they are too big and look hilarious on me... but I literally had to take my ENTIRE wardrobe to the thrift store. After all... I've almost released 100 pounds now!
Okay that's it... go ahead and enjoy your day. ;)
