It is always an honour to attune a new student to the energy and vibration of Reiki. But every once in a while... I am blessed to attune someone who will truly make a difference in this world... someone who will go beyond and do great things. This is such an honour when it happens.
My mother always says to me, the greatest honour a teacher can have is for her students to become 'more' than the teacher. This is truly teaching. As we do not teach to keep others below us, as sheep... rather we teach to assist others to become teachers within their own life (and sometimes other people's lives as well)!
I'm not into sheep, or giving someone a fish... I prefer to teach them to fish, to make them a shepherd. Last night, I began a journey with a new student which will do that very thing and I am so thankful for this gift.
Thank you Goddess, for blessing me with this student, mentor, teacher, friend. It is an honour to do Your work and assist other to do theirs.
