More and more raw foodists want to find a new career that relates to their passion for raw food.

As people find raw food, their lives change. You are working the same job you have had for 7 years, and you get the urge to do something different. You need to do something different because you sense deep inside of you that this old job doesn't work with your new raw food life.

But what new career is waiting for you?

While some people want to start a restaurant, start a catering business, or create packaged foods, other people want to do something else. Starting a raw restaurant is not for everyone. You know you want to do something with raw food, but what?

So?! Are you looking for your dream job? A recent article in the New York Times might give you a burst of inspiration.

From the article:

"Eating locally raised food is a growing trend. But who has time to get to the farmer’s market, let alone plant a garden?

That is where Trevor Paque comes in. For a fee, Mr. Paque, who lives in San Francisco, will build an organic garden in your backyard, weed it weekly and even harvest the bounty, gently placing a box of vegetables on the back porch when he leaves.

Call them the lazy locavores — city dwellers who insist on eating food grown close to home but have no inclination to get their hands dirty. Mr. Paque is typical of a new breed of business owner serving their needs."

Can you imagine growing raw food for other people? Would you like to work in a garden, tending to juicy, organic cherry tomatoes...and sneaking a few into your mouth to taste the burst of flavor?

What if you grew herbs, wild greens, or fresh berries for other people...and gently show your clients the ways of raw food along the way?

It's all about meeting people where they are at, where their mindset is at this moment, and see if they want to take their experience to another level...another level like raw food.

We are keeping our eyes and ears open for other opportunities. For now, I am going to daydream that I am tending to someone's garden. It sounds like fun.

And if you start your gardening for others business, make sure to let us know. I'd love to come to you and see you happily at work.
