Perscription Drugs, Cocaine, Fluoride, and Toliet Paper, the truth about tap water

Today the AP announced the findings of their 5 month study on Prescription Drugs in our drinking water supplies.
"A vast array of pharmaceuticals -- including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones -- have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans."
Alarming as that maybe, it's only the beginning. As stated in the article, "The federal government doesn't require any testing and hasn't set safety limits for drugs in water."
If they don't for the presence of drugs, they certainly aren't testing for the presence of other dissolved items - like herbicides, pesticides, cocaine, etc. And even if some are testing, the treatment centers most definitely don't want to understand the long term effects of these items in our water and more "acceptable" items like Fluoride and Chlorine.
